Shop Primers

Shopprimers are thin coatings which are applied to steel plates and profiles after blast cleaning to provide temporary corrosion protection during transport, storage and production. HEMPEL’S SHOPPRIMER ZS 1589 is a low zinc silicate based shopprimer developed to help newbuilding yards obtain optimum production flow by combining superior corrosion protection with excellent cutting and welding properties.
